Trying to learn a strategy for
Online Craps is very difficult as Craps is a complex game. Still, the simplest and most reliable tip you can put into play is to make only pass line bets. Another good Craps tip is don't pass bets, with maximum odds. Some bets can be a good idea but only if you're ahead and you find a shooter who is often throwing many point numbers. Hopefully the tips below will help you become a better player in a shorter space of time than if you'd joined an
Online Casino and started to play from scratch.
General Tips
Don't make Proposition Bets
Don't make Lay Bets - The 5% commission and low odds aren't a good offer.
Make Buy Bets Sparingly - only make buy bets on the 4 or 10, these are the only numbers on a buy bet that produce highest odds in the players favor (2:1)
Make Field Bets Sparingly - field bets are based on a single dice roll, which is more of a risk than extended bets.
Make Place Bets in Multiple Denominations
Bet on the 4, 5, 9 and 10 in multiples of 5, and the 6 and 8 in multiples of 6 as other amounts give uneven amounts.
Always Make a Free Odds Wager When Given the Chance
Practice and you'll learn to recognize situations such as when you can make a come bet, or when your pass bets wins or loses.
Stay away from all those proposition bets in the center of the layout. The dealer who is barking their performance is doing nothing more than inducing play on wagers that are all "house bets", carrying a casino advantage as high as 16%.
If the table minimum is way over your head, you shouldn't play.
