Craps is a part skill, part luck game often associated with glamour in real casinos and a game that if the luck is with you can see you make a lot of money in a vary short period of time. While there are a wide range of different bets and terms to master to be proficient at Craps the basics of the game can be learnt in a few minutes and like
Roulette your overall odds (in terms of the house edge) are relatively fixed.
How to Play Craps
Online Craps has a reputation as one of the more complicated online casino games as there are so many options for the player when placing a bet.
In order to start playing you need to select the amount you would like to bet and place your bet on the table by clicking on a bet field.
Your bet is displayed in the "Total Bet" field to the right of your Balance.
You then throw the dice to the opposite end of the table. The dice has to hit the wall.
You need to try and make a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10.
The dealer takes a "puck" and puts it on the number rolled.
You then try to roll the same number before he/she rolls a seven.
Craps Bets
There's a list of bets you can make in craps. So you understand each option before you bet your hard earned money we've outlined the options below.
Pass Line Bet:
This is when the first roll of the dice adds up to 7 or 11 and you win.
If you get 2, 3, or 12 you lose
Don't Pass Line Bet.
The opposite of the pass line, but if 12 is the first roll, it's a stand off; nobody wins.
Come Bet:
The same as the pass line, except that you must bet after the point.
Don't Come Bet:
Reverse of the come bet, but a first roll of 2 or 3 wins, and 12 is a standoff.
Odds Bet:
Once you have a "point" or a "come point", you may take the ODDS and win if the point or the come point is made before a 7.
Place Bet:
You can take a PLACE BET on numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. If your number comes up before 7, you win.
Field Bet:
Here you're betting that 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12 is rolled before 5, 6, 7 or 8.
Big 6 or 8 Bet:
You can bet one or both and win even money on the number when thrown before 7.
HardWay Bets:
You win if the number comes up exactly as on the table
Proposition Bets:
2 and 12 pay thirty to one, 3 and 11 pay fifteen for one, all on the first roll.
Any Craps:
You bet on any roll. If a 2, 3 or 12 rolls, you win. You're paid seven times your wager.
One Roll Bets:
At any time when the game is in progress you may bet on the "One Roll".
